‘Doctor Who’ ratings round-up: Season 8 averages 7.4m viewers each week

The BBC has revealed that Peter Capaldi’s first season of Doctor Who reached an average consolidated audience of 7.4m viewers every week in the UK. The BAFTAs pulled in their highest ratings since 2004, with over 6 million viewers seeing Olivia Coleman scoop a double win, with a 25.5% share rating.
