Fox have confirmed that Kiefer Sutherland’s new US drama series Touch will be back for a second season.

Currently airing in the UK on Sky1, Touch is created by Tim Kring (Heroes) and follows Martin Bohm (Sutherland), a widower and single father, haunted by an inability to connect to his mute 11-year-old son.

However, Deadline also reports that Fox's Alcatraz, from executive producer JJ Abrams (Lost, Fringe), will not be returning.

Starring Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), Santiago Cabrera (Heroes) and Jorge Garcia (Lost), Alcatraz airs on Tuesday nights in the UK on Watch.
