‘Doctor Who’ Season 8 DVD/Blu-ray artwork and extras revealed

The extras for the upcoming DVD and Blu-Ray release of Doctor Who‘s new season have been announced.

The 5-disc box set will be available from Monday 24 November, featuring all 12 episodes from Season 8.

The release date has been pushed back a week from the originally announced Monday 17 November, as the BBFC rating has been changed from PG to 12, resulting in a change to the cover.

Four exclusive audio commentaries
Doctor Who: The Ultimate Time Lord (a 45-minute feature with Fifth Doctor Peter Davison)
Doctor Who: The Ultimate Companion (a second 45-minute feature with Fifth Doctor Peter Davison)
Doctor Who: Earth Conquest (a 45-minute documentary about the 2014 Doctor Who world tour)
Doctor Who Exclusive (4 two-minute cast interviews)
Doctor Who Extra (12 ten-minute behind the scenes features)
‘Deep Breath’ cinema panel (Exclusive 30-minute feature, recorded in London on 23 August 2014, featuring Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman and Steven Moffat, and hosted by Zoe Ball)
‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ music video by Foxes (from ‘Mummy on the Orient Express’)

Season 8 launched in August on BBC One and will conclude on Saturday 8 November.
