We caught up with Craig to find out what he likes to watch to relax between filming…

Favourite TV show to cheer you up:

Friends. Anytime of the day, any episode, any series this show never fails to make me laugh or smile.  David Schwimmer is one of my idols – he’s a comic genius.”

Favourite TV show to watch before going to sleep:

Only Fools & Horses. I’ve got the complete set on DVD and there ain’t nuffin’ like Del Boy, Rodders and co to give you a bubble before bed. Lovely jubbly.”

TV show that reminds you of your childhood:

“CBBC’s Aquila because I was in it in my childhood. To this day people still recognise me from playing Geoff in both series and tell me how much they loved it.”

TV show that reminds you of being a teenager:

Dawson’s Creek. I was a sucker for teenage angst, the American dream and beautiful girls. I wanted to be Pacey, but I was probably more like Dawson and I was in love with Katie Holmes’ character Joey (well, just Katie Holmes actually).”

Favourite “guilty pleasure” TV show:

Newlyweds. I know this show isn’t on anymore (and they’re not even together) but I used to love watching this show. Jessica Simpson was ridiculously hot and stupid in equal measure.”

TV show that you find most addictive:

The Sopranos or 24. I’ve seen every episode of 24 – once you watch one you just can’t stop. I’ve just bought the boxset for The Sopranos and am now half way through Season 2, I don’t ever want it to end. Incredible TV.”

Favourite TV show to watch hungover:

Hollyoaks! Beautiful people cavorting about in hardly any clothes, with humour, drama, conflict and sex appeal. What the Sunday omnibus was created for.”

Axed TV show that you most wish would return:

The Bill. Good TV show but more importantly… solid work and job opportunities for actors for years. You could always rely on an audition for The Bill cropping up.”
