The BBC has released a trailer for BBC One's new drama series, Mayday.

Written by Ben Court and Caroline Ip (Whitechapel) and directed by Brian Welsh (Black Mirror), the five-part series stars Sophie Okonedo, Aidan Gillen, Peter Firth and Lesley Manville.

Episode 1 airs at 9pm on Sunday 3 March on BBC One and sees a community thrown into turmoil when its May day queen, 14 year old Hattie, disappears.
