ITV has released a trailer for new drama series Broadchurch, starring Doctor Who's David Tennant and Arthur Darvill.

Written and created by Chris Chibnall (Torchwood, Doctor Who), the eight-part series also stars Olivia Colman, Vicky McClure, Jodie Whittaker and Andrew Buchan.

Broadchurch explores what happens to a small community in Dorset when it suddenly becomes the focus of a police investigation, following the tragic and mysterious death of an eleven year old boy under the glare of the media spotlight.
