ITV1 has released a teaser for the new period adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s classic novel, The Scapegoat.

The one-off film will star Matthew Rhys (Brothers and Sisters) in the double roles of John Standing and Johnny Spence, alongside Eileen Atkins (Upstairs Downstairs) as his mother Lady Spence. The cast also includes Andrew Scott (Sherlock), Sheridan Smith (Jonathan Creek), Anton Lesser (The Hour) and Jodhi May (The Jury).
