An official trailer has been released for next year's The Amazing Spider-Man movie, which features former Doctor Who guest star Andrew Garfield as the titular web-slinging hero.

Currrently in production and being shot entirely in 3D, the movie also stars Emma Stone (Superbad), Rhys Ifans (Harry Potter), Denis Leary, Martin Sheen and Sally Field. The Amazing Spider-Man arrives in cinemas on 3rd July 2012.

Andrew Garfield starred as Frank in the Doctor Who episodes 'Daleks In Manhattan' and 'Evolution of the Daleks' in 2007's Series 3.
