Weekend ratings round-up: ‘Endeavour’ shows no remorse by attracting 5.3m

Posted Filed under

BBC One’s Sunday night drama did not fare so well, with The Village continuing to ship viewers, falling to 4.8m (19.4%)

On Saturday, Doctor Who slipped to its lowest figures this series for the well-received ‘Hide’, with only 5m (24.5%) tuning on the night. No doubt this figure will rise sharply once the consolidated ratings are known.

Not Going Out on Friday fell further in the ratings this week to 3.7m (16%) viewers and perhaps the loss of Tim Vine is having a bigger effect on the series than first thought; whilst ITV launched Ice Cream Girls to a respectable 4.9m (21.5%).

Channel 5’s US offerings were as consistent as ever with The Mentalist racking up 1.1m (4.6%) viewers. Once upon a Time and Person of Interest both did reasonably well on Sunday with 748k (3%) and 765k (4.4%) viewers respectfully.
