E4 will air US comedy series The Goldbergs in the UK next year.

Based on creator Adam F. Goldberg’s own childhood, The Goldbergs stars Wendi McLendon-Covey and Jeff Garlin as they raise their lovable brood of little monsters in 1980’s Pennsylvania.

Documenting the craziness of his family, 11 year-old Adam (Sean Giambrone) and his trusty video camera offer an insight into the reality of being a Goldberg. From an overbearing Mum and hothead dad to bossy older sister, Erica (Hayley Orrantia), Adam has his hands full. Oh, and not forgetting Barry ‘middle-child’ Goldberg played by Troy Gentile.  Al ‘Pops’ Solomon (George Segal) completes the clan as a less than traditional grandfather whose behaviour rivals that of the most rebellious teenager.
