‘The Sweeney’ coming to Blu-ray this autumn

The complete first series of classic ’70s police drama The Sweeney will be released on Blu-ray later this year.

Available to buy in high definition for the first time on Monday 10th September, the 4-disc set will include a range of special features:

Starring John Thaw as Detective Inspector Regan and Dennis Waterman as his loyal partner Detective Sergeant Carter, The Sweeney originally aired on ITV between 1975 and 1978.
