‘The Royle Family’ actor joins first ep of ‘Doctor Who’ Season 10

More guest stars for the opening episode of Doctor Who‘s new season have been revealed.

Season 10’s first story began filming in Cardiff last month, directed by Lawrence Gough, with Pearl Mackie filming her first scenes as new companion Bill and comedian Matt Lucas returning as Nardole.

Fan @fandomfan99 spotted a cast list during location filming earlier this week, which suggests that The Royle Family actor Ralf Little is playing a character named ‘Steadfast’ in the episode.

Young actor Kaizer Akhtar (The Honourable Woman, Tut) also appears to be playing a character called ‘Praiseworthy’.
