Over the years, Hollywood has created a handful of amazing action movies.

Movies that fall into this genre tend to have one or two things in common. First and foremost, they feature a lot of guns and bloodshed. Secondly, these movies almost always feature the protagonist visiting a nearby casino or brothel. When you notice the slot machines, you can almost guarantee that a shootout is about to take place. With so many amazing movies involving casinos, it can be difficult to determine which one is the best. You’ll learn more about the top contenders below.

Vegas Vacation might not be an action-packed movie, but it is undeniably full of laughs. The movie follows the Griswold family as they venture to Las Vegas for the Christmas holiday. Unsurprisingly, the father, Clark Griswold, gets himself into a whole host of problems. He winds up losing the family’s money and nearly loses him entire family as well. However, Clark’s son, Rusty, does a spectacular job and goes on a winning spree. At one point, he uses casino promo codes and wins cars for the entire family.

The movie doesn’t feature much bullet-flying action, but it is still fun nevertheless.

Casino

Surprisingly, Casino is based on a true story. Sam Rothstein becomes involved with the mob and is tasked with overseeing the operations of a casino in Las Vegas. While things start off great for Sam, they quickly spiral out of control. He winds up getting involved with the wrong people and loses his wife. Eventually, the mob is dethroned and Sam winds up back at the drawing board. The film is definitely a must watch for anyone that wants to see the shadier side of casinos.
