Kudos have revealed four new cast members for the tenth series of spy drama Spooks, which will air on BBC One in the Autumn.

Following the dramatic betrayal of Lucas North in Series 9, Section D has a new leader in Erin Watts, played by Lara Pulver (True Blood, Robin Hood). Erin is “ambitious, hungry and determined to make her mark”.

Geoffrey Streatfeild (Ashes To Ashes) joins the cast as a new IT supremo, Calum Reed, alongside returning characters Harry (Peter Firth), Ruth (Nicola Walker), Dimitri (Max Brown) and Tariq (Shazad Latif). Calum is a “maverick [who] proves more than a match for Tariq when it comes to computer wizardry”.

Other newcomers include Alice Krige (Deadwood) and Jonathan Hyde (Titanic), while Simon Russell Beale (Much Ado About Nothing) will reprise his role as the Home Secretary.

However, Sophia Myles (Doctor Who) will not be returning, with the character of Beth Bailey “decommissioned”. Myles was a regular character in last year’s Series 9.
