‘Sherlock’ star on Bond film role: ‘It feels extraordinary’

Sherlock star Andrew Scott has revealed that he is “incredibly excited” to be appearing in the new James Bond movie.

As rumoured yesterday, Sherlock‘s Andrew Scott has joined the cast of SPECTRE, alongside Christoph Waltz, Léa Seydoux, Dave Bautista and Monica Bellucci.

Scott told Flicks in the City: “It feels extraordinary. I’m incredibly excited to be here. It’s wonderful.”

He added: “To be in the company of these extraordinary actors really is the chief pleasure of it. All these amazing actors, all the people that they announced today.”

Discussing his character, a Whitehall-based character called Denbigh, the Pride actor commented: “He’s a member of the intelligence world. That’s really all I can say.”

SPECTRE will be released in cinemas on 6 November 2015.
