Steven Moffat has hinted that big changes are ahead in his final season as Doctor Who showrunner.

It was announced in January that Moffat will step down as lead writer after eight years, with Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall taking over for 2018’s season.

Season 10’s opening episode began filming in Cardiff last week, with Pearl Mackie filming her first scenes as new companion Bill and comedian Matt Lucas returning as Nardole from ‘The Husbands of River Song’.
