Paul Wilmshurst will be directing two episodes of Doctor Who‘s new series.

The director has previously helmed episodes of Strike Back, Da Vinci’s Demons, Silent Witness and Law & Order: UK.

Wilmshurst will reportedly be directing Episode 7 and Episode 8 of Peter Capaldi’s first series of Doctor Who. The writers for the episodes (which could be a two-part story) have not yet been announced.

Series 8 is currently filming in Cardiff and will begin airing on BBC One in the autumn.
