Following five years of live shows at London's BFI Southbank, Adam Buxton’s BUG will debut on TV next month, Sky Atlantic has confirmed.

Presented by comedian, writer, director and music video fanatic Adam Buxton (The Adam and Joe Show), the eight-part series will celebrate the most thought-provoking and weird music videos.

Each week’s episode includes an original music video featuring Adam, directed by the likes of David Wilson, Dougal Wilson and Garth Jennings.

Buxton commented: "I tell people it's like going round to a friend's house and having them open their laptop and show you interesting and amusing things they've found or made, except not as tedious and shit as that sounds."

BUG will air as part of Sky Atlantic’s comedy Mondays from 9th July at 9.30pm.
