BBC America has unveiled a couple of pics from the special prequel for the new season of Doctor Who.

‘The Doctor’s Meditation’ will premiere next month during the North America screenings of ‘Dark Water’ and ‘Death in Heaven’ in 3D.

The scene features actor Daniel Hoffmann-Gill as Bors alongside Peter Capaldi as the Doctor.

The screenings will also feature an exclusive interview with stars Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman, hosted by Wil Wheaton.

Season 9 has been filming in Cardiff since January and begins on BBC America in the US on Saturday 19 September.
