Former Doctor Who companion Katy Manning has visited the show’s studio in Cardiff and posed for photos on the TARDIS set with Peter Capaldi.
Manning commented: “Oh I had the biggest smile on my little mush all day! Such a happy lucky Katy.”
She also described Capaldi as “not only a superb actor but one of the most charming men I have ever met” and revealed that Jenna Coleman is “impossibly pretty on screen and impossibly pretty off”.

Katy Manning played Jo Grant from 1971 to 1973 alongside Jon Pertwee’s Doctor. She later reprised the role in the fourth season of Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures alongside Matt Smith’s Doctor in ‘Death of the Doctor’.
