Doctor Who Oxygen

Artist Mike Collins shows off ‘Doctor Who’ ‘Oxygen’ storyboards

Artist Mike Collins has shown off some of the storyboards he created for the Doctor Who episode, ‘Oxygen’.

It’s taken a while for us to come across these (we eventually got there, courtesy of a post by @girlyletters), but in a series of tweets from a few days back artist Mike Collins offered up a behind the scenes glimpse of the planning for the excellent Doctor Who series 10 episode, ‘Oxygen’.

His posts show the work that went into storyboarding the Jamie Mathieson-scripted episode’s tense action, back when it appears to have been going under the name ‘Zero Hour’, and his lovely artwork too. Each post contained a series of images, and here they are…

We think you’ll agree that they’re pretty lovely things.

This is another in a series of fascinating behind-the-scenes snippets from the show, following some galleries from the official BBC site that showed of production art from ‘Extremis’ and a post from the ‘Oxygen’ writer himself revealing his initial treatment/pitch for to Steven Moffat.
