’80s action legend Michael Dudikoff reveals his favourite TV shows

Michael Dudikoff (American Ninja, Olympus Has Fallen) leads the cast of Navy SEALS Vs Zombies, out now on DVD courtesy of Icon Film Distribution.

The ’80s action legend stars as Commander Sheer, the leader of a crack team of Navy SEALS charged with extracting the Vice President from a situation gone bad in New Orleans. What Sheer’s team don’t know is that the ‘situation’ is a viral outbreak that is very quickly turning the residents of the Big Easy into flesh hungry hoards of ravenous zombies and sometimes the bullets run out.

Favourite TV show to cheer you up:

America’s Funniest Home Videos. Nothing better than an unscripted funny moment that happens without trying. My favourites usually star the family cat or dog.”

Favourite TV show to watch before going to sleep:

Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and No Reservations. Because I love his take on the world – his love for travel, his respect for the differences in people, and his passion for jiu jitsu. Great way to drift into sleep mode.”

Favourite “guilty pleasure” TV show:

The Bachelor. Got hooked and it’s my current escape from reality. I really feel for the guy. While it’s great to date that many hot women, I see how it is way too much of a good thing. I can barely handle one…”

TV show that you find most addictive with binge viewing:

UFC Fight Night, UFC Ultimate Knockouts, UFC Ultimate Submissions, anything to do with MMA. Can’t get enough. I often get scolded when I try to sneak my pre-recorded fights on a date night.”

Favourite TV show to watch hungover:

American Greed. Stories about white collar criminals has a very sobering effect on me because it makes me want to get up and hit a punching bag. Which is exactly what I should do if I’m hung over.”

Axed TV show that you most wish would return:

Friends! Never seen such great chemistry within a cast and the comedic timing is impeccable. I’m always watching reruns. And since everything gets rebooted I’m hoping this show makes a comeback.”
