Understanding Women Better: Five Common Women’s Fears

Posted Filed under

Women are emotional and, very often, unconceivable creatures. Many men are desperately trying to understand them, but only few of them manage to solve the riddle.

If we look deeper, we’ll be able to see our women from a different side. The main thing is to understand what they fear and where their inhibitions and emotional instability stem from.

Knowing that, you’ll be able to decide how to act in this or that situation. We gained insight into women’s fears and gladly share this information with you.

The fear of loneliness

Emancipation and feminism are cool, but it seems so only on the surface. In reality, women are often afraid of their independence and unavailability. Well, they can do without relationships during a certain period of time. But when they realise they don’t want to spend the rest of their lives like this, they start looking for a partner. There are many single 40-somethings that are ready to marry any relatively compatible man just not to be alone. There comes the moment when a single woman gets so overwhelmed by the fear of loneliness that she is ready to let her guard down. And you can make use of it.

The fear of ageing

Every girl is afraid that one day she won’t recognise her reflection in the mirror – grey hair, wrinkled skin, etc. Her appearance is very important to a woman. She realises that when she gets old, no makeup or fashion clothes will help. Women can feel this fear at any age.

If you noticed that your girlfriend is conscious about her changing appearance, don’t leave her one on one with her fears. Show your admiration and attention, pay compliments, even flatter if it helps to stop her from thinking about it.

The fear of an unplanned pregnancy

It might come as a surprise, but women are afraid of an unexpected pregnancy too. She’s recently established her career, she attends the gym, she planned a vacation already and suddenly … a baby. Or another, less advantageous, situation: she rents a room and barely makes ends meet.

Panic is how she’ll react to this news. In order to avoid this situation, discuss the possibility of becoming parents. Tell your woman that you don’t plan kids yet and protected sex is your principle. Convince her that she can feel safe with you.

The fear of poverty

Women value comfort, coziness, and material welfare even more than men. That is why they are often blamed for their mercenary spirit. But it derives from their fear of poverty. Women always want something – a new dress, a new pair of shoes, a new lipstick, etc.

She either wants to find a man who’ll provide for her or does her best to provide for herself. This is where female careerism stems from. What can you do to eliminate this fear? Show your careful attitude to money. She needs to see that you are not a spendthrift and that she can plan the future with you. Give her presents and ask about her worries.

The fear of getting fat

Eastern Slavic female beauty is surely one of the reasons to date a Russian woman. Women like to ask their men whether they find them fat just to make sure. Every girl is afraid of putting on some weight.

The fact that she can’t get into her jeans she wore in college can turn into a total disaster for her and you either. There are two solutions. The fist one is applicable if your woman is slim, but she believes she is fat. In this case, you should convince her that she is beautiful. Compliment her on her figure more often and say how lucky you are to be with such a gorgeous woman.

The second solution should be applied if your girl has really put on some weight recently. Don’t point it out directly. Try to encourage her by your own example: start jogging in the morning and eat healthy food. If she says she wants to join the gym, buy her a membership card.
