Una Stubbs released an ’80s fitness album and it’s all we want right now

Okay, maybe this is one of things that everyone else in the world knew about apart from us.

But… until today we were totally unaware that Sherlock star Una Stubbs released an album entitled ‘If You Can Dance You Can Do It! Have Fun And Keep Fit With Una Stubbs’ in 1982.

All this time we’ve been going to the gym listening to some hideous Now! compilation and we could’ve been working out with Mrs Hudson.

MRS HUDSON.

As if we thought it wasn’t possible to love this woman even more than we already did.

“One thing’s for sure – you’ll never forget those tunes,” promises Una. And she ain’t lying.

Highlights include ‘Je T’aime (Moi Non Plus)’, ‘Yes Sir, I Can Boogie’, ‘Singin’ In The Rain’ and a Bee Gees medley of ‘Stayin’ Alive’/’Night Fever’/’You Should Be Dancing’.

Oh and ‘Theme from Close Encounters Of The Third Kind‘.

PS: If anyone has the FREE POSTER that came with the album, we need that in our life too.
