Doctor Who 9

Brian Minchin: “Ghosts on an underwater base! Add in time travel and we realised that in Doctor Who you could be haunted by your own ghost. A hugely exciting episode with some of our scariest moments yet. And you won’t see the cliffhanger coming.”

Steven Moffat: “Under a lake, in the dripping gloom of an underwater base, stands a gleaming black space ship, recovered from the lake bed. Nothing is inside – but when the base crew start dying, they make a terrible discovery: ghosts are real! And their friends are refusing to stay dead! The Doctor and Clara arrive to find a base under siege from beyond the grave. But how can the dead be walking? What has brought them back? When the Doctor discovers the truth, it is more terrifying than any simple ghost story.”

Steven Moffat: “…features an underwater base plagued by creeping ghosts and an island that is about to be submerged in water. But who or what is doing this and how can the Doctor stop it? It’s very scary, atmospheric and claustrophobic, much like some classic episodes.”

Toby Whithouse: “[The story is] scary, claustrophobic, damp!”

Steven Moffat: “An amazing guest cast for a brilliantly creepy two-parter by Toby Whithouse … one of our scariest adventures yet!”
