BBC One has axed comedy-drama Me & Mrs Jones after just one series.

Starring Robert Sheehan (Misfits), BBC One’s new comedy series, Me And Mrs Jones, follows the increasingly complex life of Mrs Jones (Sarah Alexander).

Jimmy McGovern’s award-winning drama series Accused returns to BBC One this month for a second series.

The BBC has released a trailer for the second series of Accused.

Nathaniel Parker (Merlin) and Robert Sheehan (Misfits) will star in new BBC One comedy Me & Mrs Jones.

Starring Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who), Stephen Fry and Victoria Wood, BBC One's Christmas 2011 adaptation of The Borrowers is released on DVD on Monday 9th January courtesy of Universal Playback.

Written by Ben Vanstone (Merlin, EastEnders), the 90-minute film follows the series of adventures the four inch high Borrowers go on, and their attempts to outsmart the adults in a bid to return the Clock family back to their home before Christmas.

Actor Robert Sheehan has discussed how Misfits has "progressed and graduated" in its third series, which has seen his character Nathan replaced by This Is England '86 star Joe Gilgun.

Anne-Marie Duff (Shameless) and Olivia Colman (Peep Show) have begun filming the second series of BBC One's Accused in and around Manchester.
